In recent years, large amounts of Hagi yaki tableware have been produced, and its diversity has found great appeal. The Hagiyaki Festival is an exhibition of Hagi yaki pottery that takes place at two locations in the city (the Hagi-Tamachi shopping arcade and Hagi Meiringakusha).
